2nd Year was organised by the winner of the year before Jed, His choice of Course for the 1st day was Morecambe Golf Course. Once again it was red hot. The fancied players for this year were Jed, Craig, Ian and Paul but on the 1st tee as Craig was winding up Ian that the course didn't suit a left hander especially with a slice or fade because of the out of bounds on the left on a lot of the holes. Craig stepped up put his first O.O.B then his second as well finally on third attempt getting on in play. Then on the second hole did the same again not a good start to a comp. As Ian didn't loose any that way i wont be taking the piss out of him this year. Everyone thought the course was hard especially with no par 5's and mostly long nearing if not over 400yrd par 4's. I spat my dummy out god knows how many times during both rounds saying that i was not going to turn up for the following day. After 1st days play Paul Marsden had a 9 shot lead over Craig in second.
2nd day was once again at Bentham another red hot day, because myself Ian and Jed all thought we were out of it we all started to drink on the 1st hole. During the next 18 holes I pulled 10 Shots on Paul taking 1 stroke lead into final round (bet Paul wished he had a drink!!). The next 18 was hard work everyone was knackered, especially Ian who took to shouting at myself and Jed because he thought we were talking in his back swing then saw his arse. Even though no-one had said anything (sign of old age Ian). It stayed pretty even with myself coming out in the lead just over Paul who played out of his skin and in my eyes deserved to win it. Other winners were Jed with Longest Drive and Paul Nearest the Pin. Craig Marsden retained his wooden spoon.
